Brittany Hall
she/her
Farmer, Owner
Brittany began farming in 2018 following a career in social services, including the housing coordinator for a refugee resettlement agency and case manager at the state of Hawai’I’s SNAP employment program. Eventual burnout led to a career-change and she hasn’t looked back since. Brittany’s experiences in the social service sector have helped to hone a meticulous attention to detail and a passion for providing healthy food to everyone. You can frequently find Brittany saying encouraging words to baby plants, cooking delicious food for family and friends, and listening to audiobooks while she plants and harvests. Brittany is our resident veggie expert, field manager, and pun maker.

Caley Brooks
she/her
Farmer, Owner
Caley began farming in 2019 and she is the brains behind Beets & Blooms flower operation, where she delights in how flower farming combines her love of being outside, creativity, working with her hands, and bringing joy to others. Around the farm you’ll find Caley gently nudging sleeping bees awake when she’s trying to harvest flowers in the early mornings, or delighting over learning about a new beneficial insect she’s found. Off the farm Caley can be found playing for CT Roller Derby where everyone calls her by her favorite food, Pickle.
